Once patient is satisfied with the information provided to them, they are advised to register as a patient. This is FREE.
Once registered, patients need to submit their medical data and reports. Healthwayz will then let its patient know further requirements after initial consultation with Healthwayz team of panel doctors.
Healthwayz panel of doctors will view and interpret patient medical data. The expert opinion will then be sent to the registered patient.
After sending the expert opinion, Healthwayz will next discuss the matter with its affiliated hospitals/physicians. The best quotes obtained will be then sent to the patient.
Patient will then finalize from the list of quotes sent to them from the various Healthwayz affiliated hospitals/physicians. Patient may finalize more than one hospital. Healthwayz will schedule video conferencing with physicians who will provide comprehensive interpretation of patient’s problem and how it can be solved; this is similar when you are with your doctor personally and doctor explains you about procedures, etc.
The patient decides to go ahead with their medical travel once they are: Comfortable with all their answered queries, Discussed options for alternative treatment(s) with their doctor, and Completely understood the risks, benefits and the process involved. Next, they need to deposit the registration amount. With Healthwayz, there are multiple options for payments; patients can make their payment to the hospital directly or through Healthwayz. Healthwayz is very transparent.
On receipt of payment, Healthwayz will confirm the patient procedure(s), consulting doctors, hospitals and hotel accommodation and submit an itinerary for patient’s review and finalization.
Before patient travels, Healthwayz will provide with a host of information about the destination they will be travelling to. Patient will also be sent emails about how to properly plan and execute their trip.
Healthwayz will personally welcome their patient at the airport and take them to their place of accommodation, followed by hospital / doctor visit. Healthwayz will provide patient with mobile, laptop, internet, etc.
Once patient is comfortable at their place of stay after arrival, they will then be transported by one of Healthwayz’s representatives to the pre-operative appointment with patient’s surgeon. This will be the first time patient gets to meet their doctor and team. The doctor may ask for further diagnosis and review of the results. Note: If for medical reasons the surgeon feels the surgery should not proceed as scheduled, or if patient decides not to go ahead with it, the scheduled surgery will stand cancelled.
Healthwayz, from time to time, during the course of treatment, will update patient’s family and friends through a medical bulletin.
Upon patient’s preference and with due permission from their doctor Healthwayz shall provide options for rejuvenation and travel.
Healthwayz will follow up for patient’s treatment and recovery even after their return.
